The most efficient way to approach your project may be with a Development Sprint. What is a Sprint? You can book our whole team for a day or a week at a time. This means the total resources of the entire Copper Leaf Creative team are available to your project.
We will send your our Pre-Sprint Checklist, then discuss in more detail the plans for your Sprint. Leah, our Project Manager, will coordinate gathering all the requisite materials and ensuring we have everything in-hand before your Sprint begins.
With the bulk of the content already in-hand (at least 80% is our goal, either newly written or copied off your existing site) and a new layout already selected, we can hit the ground running in the morning by installing the new theme and starting in on customization. As the day progresses, functional items (i.e. Lead Capture forms, etc.) will be created. Once the layout is finalized and all new content loaded, we will make the site layout mobile responsive. Finally, we will do our standard pre-launch testing.
Post-Sprint / Post-Launch
After the Sprint is completed, the site will remain available to you and your team at a temporary address in our development environment. You can continue to submit tweaks which we will execute as quickly as possible. Once you are satisfied, we will launch the site. Any remaining time from the Prep & Follow-up allocation will remain available to you for the following 90 days for any tweaks, changes, or any work you need done on the site.
Daily: One 7-hour work day
Weekly: Four consecutive 7-hour work days
To make the most of a Sprint, the pre-production planning process must be complete. You can complete this in-house, work with another marketing company, or collaborate with us. If you’re not sure where to start, try starting with our free Website Planning Workbook:
